October ___ — Toga Weekend (Renaissance Festival)
Grab your toga, stola, and neighborhood consul! We’re on our way to RenFair, with parent supervision of course. No garum for you, kiddies!
December ___ — Saturnalia
A week of secret gift-giving, pranks, and impromptu karaoke and acrobatic displays culminates in this one day — where you get to find out your Secret Caesar, get a big gift, and enjoy a warm and cozy night with the entire Latin Club!
2008
February 9th — Latin Area A
Our first official contest of the year; this year, Area is taking place at J. Frank Dobie High School — in the lion’s den itself! Get your butt-kicking shoes ready, because that’s what we’ve gotta do; after all, we aim to please.
March ___ — NLE
Test your knowledge of Latin and Roman/Greek culture and earn medals for high performance. Give it a shot!
April 11th-12th — Latin State
The big times! This year, State is at the new and swanky Atascosita High School in Humble! Winning State is easily within our reach! Keep studying, and keep being awesome!
